That job is one of the biggest fluff jobs around, if not the biggest.
There's nothing to it.  All you do is maintain a data base which is
considered small to most companies.  And they have a more than sufficient
size staff that is paid more than an equivalent job in the private sector.
Plus you get constant support from the Secretary of State's office.  Like I
said, fluff.

The point is, it is the same family. That is the issue you brought up with
the Clerk of Court's office. The same thing happened with the Assessor's
office.

There is never any "fresh" blood at the top. It seems to be the same
families, over and over again.

Since it was a "tossup" in your mind, why didn't the council go for Juanita?
She seemed to have all the credentials that Connie had.
