So, knives purchased in Italy and Europe are a bit less expensive now. :-) Have a look at the SKM selection at: http://www.skmknives.com/ and get yours. SKM is in research process and some new models, both in the modern and in the classic line, might soon see the light. 2 - In memory of Tiny and Tiny Jr --------------------------------- As you all know, Tiny, one of the most important knife dealers in the USA and a great folk, died on February 23rd, 2008 at the age of 52. His son, who continued the work in the same professional way, died as well on March 14, 2009 at the age of 25. We always try to keep the memory of Tiny and Tiny Jr alive. There are several topics on TalkBlade devoted to them, starting with the first: http://www.talkblade.info/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=10533 Commemorative knives were produced for both: Tiny: http://www.talkblade.info/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=11050 Tiny Jr: http://www.talkblade.info/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=12843 3 - All the hot TalkBlade topics at a glance -------------------------------------------- Even in this "dark" era, TalkBlade discussion thrives. Here's our selection of topics: ==> Switchblade Knife Rights Petition http://www.talkblade.info/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=14170 New Hampshire is trying to repeal their anti-knife laws and maybe start a nationwide trend. There's even a petition. Can these old laws be changed? ==> Imitation Horn http://www.talkblade.info/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=44 This neverending thread started on 3 June 2002 and is still active with 3167 posts and 164458 views (!). It even spawned the production of a knife devoted to the thread... with imitation horn handle, of course. ==> "Christine" Movie knife http://www.talkblade.info/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=13489 Fond of horror movies AND knives? This thread is about the knife which appeared in John Carpenter's "Christine" move (from a Stephen King's book). If you search on TalkBlade, you'll find many more threads devoted to knives and movies. ==> LLO in wood http://www.talkblade.info/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=14795 Pictures of a Leverletto custom: take a look at the scales, they really kick ass. ==> KISSING CRANE - MADE IN CHINA! http://www.talkblade.info/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=10997 This is an old topic, even though it has some recent messages. We cite is as it's some of a "sign of the times" topic: Kissing Crane, the German knife manufacturer, moved production to China in 2008. Others did/are doing the same. Can quality be matched? What does the future hold for knives production? Tell us your opinion. ==> The globe keeps warming !!! http://www.talkblade.info/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=14799 Global warming or not? TalkBlade members have different opinions on the matter, especially after an exceptionally cold winter. Even though weather and climate are different things, doubts do arise. Have a look at this and at other threads (search with "global warming" keyword) and tell us your opinion on how our climate is (not?) changing. Come and join the discussion at http://www.talkblade.info/ !!! Cheers, TalkBlade Management.
