From marco.piovanelli at pobox.com Thu Jul 19 09:49:45 2007 From: marco.piovanelli at pobox.com (Marco Piovanelli) Date: Thu, 19 Jul 2007 15:49:45 +0200 Subject: [WASTE-list] [ANN] WASTE 3.1b2 now available Message-ID: <20070719134945.19072900@relay.pair.com> A new beta version of WASTE 3.1 is available for download. This is a final candidate. New in this release: 1. Built-in spell checking is fully functional, including the "Check Spelling as You Type" feature. 2. Better support for Accessibility and VoiceOver. 3. A new API for displaying a contextual menu, for clients that don't use the HIView wrapper. 4. Removed limit on number of tabs per ruler, which some parts of WASTE still hard-coded at 20. 5. WEGetDestRect() will no longer invoke the scroll callback, even if it triggers a reflow. 6. WASTE will now recognize a subset of the Emacs-like key bindings supported by Cocoa. 7. Sundry bug fixes and optimizations. Enjoy, -- marco -- It's not the data universe only, it's human conversation. They want to turn it into a one-way flow that they have entirely monetized. I look at the collective human mind as a kind of ecosystem. They want to clear cut it. They want to go into the rainforest of human thought and mow the thing down.
