Hi everyone, l'm new here too, and l guess you could call me a beginner to
webdesign, l am still on a very big learning curve! l studied Graphic Design
back in 1987-1989 (eek!) and am currently supposed to be studying the
macromedia university subjects, but keep getting sidetracked by
clients...LOL
l'm wondering, can anyone suggest a good CMS - my client needs a
'techniques' section on her site, which she has to be able to update easily.
l want her to be able to type WYSIWYG, sometimes fairly large amounts of
text, as well as easily upload pictures and graphics in the same document
(no manual FTP) - she really doesn't have a clue about any of this. l don't
need a heap of bells and whistles, l have tried postnuke (too complex) mambo
stripped back to the very bare basics and also phpFAQ, but am having
troubles getting images to upload in the latter two - most of them require
the image to be ftp'd (unless l am doing something terribly wrong!)
looking forward to some advice!
Gabbie
