I agree...
IMHO, if you do specialize in one aspect, whether you are a developer or
artist, you will become quickly obsolete. You must be able to multi-task and
reinvent yourself as technology and requirements evolve. Employers are
always looking (and successfully finding) people who do possess "all" the
skills - programming, design, development experience, etc. If you want to
last you must make an effort to at least dabble in both areas.
Rant over! Looking forward to being a user as well as a resource on this
list!
