[Webpro] color separations

Is there a way to print color separations to a black and white printer in
Illustrator.

Corel Draw has this functionality built in, but Illustrator seems to need a
color printer to accept separations. 

I need the color separations printed for silk screens so they need to print
in black and white (grayscale).

Printing the separations through Distiller works, but there should be an
easier way (especially if I did not have Distiller).

Any help would be appreciated.
