[Woodcarver] Confused but getting messages

I am a bit confused by all of the e-mails relative to actions taken or to take due to the new list service.  I did not do anything and seem to be getting all of the posting.  I am sending this via the e-mail address provided by Bill Judt and from which all of the mail from the list is now coming.  If it goes through as I expect it will I do not really understand the need to do anything due to the change.  If it is not delivered to the list I guess I will have to try some of the things others did.  I am not fond of groping around in computerland so I sure hope it works the first time!  Basically this is a test and requires no response.
