Hi Al,

I bought the Foredom reversible unit a couple of years ago and am left handed as
well. I had spoken with a Pfingst (sp?) rep at one time and he bad mouthed the
reversing feature, pointing out the the metal cutters are all intended to cut
one direction. (They don't sell a reversing unit) What he failed to point out is
that the rubies, diamonds and stones, as well as some stump cutters don't care
about direction of travel! I often use mine in reverse mode to keep it the
cutter turning in the proper direction and make it comfortable to use. I am sure
you will find ways to use this one, even as a lefty, that make it a worthwhile
addition to your carving tool collection. I like the fact that I can reverse
this one due to my handed-ness but think I could live without it if necessary.
Worst case, either sell it and upgrade to a reversing unit, or learn to carve
right handed!

	Best, Vic H
