I have taken several classes with Peter Benson, the chairman of the British
Woodcarving Assoc and an excellent carver.  He has nothing but good things to
say about Ashley Iles tools and always brings a handful of unique ones with him
for sale when he is teaching here in the US.  I have several and certainly have
no complaints about them, although they are specialty tools and I use them
infrequently myself.   Peter carves Boxwood and holly at times, so if anything
is going to be a problem to the tools, they would likely be the woods.
