Hi Clive,

Nice to hear from you. Thanks a bunch my friend. 

You are right, the logs are about 4 to 6 inches. I really do love having
access to such good cedar. I wasn't able to get out and cut any this year.
Kept procrastinating till the weather turned nice, now the sap is up too
much. I think I have enough to get by with this year, I was kind of getting
log bound around here anyway. This will give me an excuse to actually carve
some of the logs I've been sitting on for awhile now.

Hi Greg,

Great site as always, your Cedar logs look great, I love the colour in them,
it really enhances the carving. What size around are the logs, I see they
are 14" long, and looking at that I guess the width to be around 4" to 6",
am I right?

I am in the process of looking for some Cedar around here, also going to
check the lumber mills. You are very lucky being able to have your own
source like that, it must be fun to wander around the lot picking out some
trees.
