My first post, I think

I'll be at the Worlds with my husband. We both hope to enter our first
pieces in this competition, in the novice class. We attended the
competition last year, right before we took our first ever carving class.
We were both bitten by the carving bug! We'll be taking a class in
Salisbury just prior to the Worlds. I'm also going to be at, maybe helping
with, the Federal Junior Duck Stamp competition judging that will take
place on Saturday at the Worlds.

If you get a chance to go to the museum in Salisbury, I strongly encourage
you to do so! It's a great little museum. A new exhibit is opening on
April 9 of oil paintings by Wil Goebel. My husband and I liked the museum
so much, we became members. Our class ends on Wednesday, and we're
planning on hitting the museum on Thursday ourselves.
