Thanks Doug ... and Happy Easter to you (and Slash) as well!  
 
Burning a little a oil at work before the family gets together for
Easter Dinner.  It seems the busier we get, the busier we get. ;]  Did
you register for the International Carver's Conference yet?  Space is
going pretty quickly.

Ray ... Woodburning pens do get hot, there is no doubt about it.  Too
hot to hold is a problem though.  You (your niece)may want to use some
sort of protective grip holder to protect fingers from the heat.
Razertip does made a couple varieties (one standard and one heavy duty).
