Hello Friends -
A WOM reader sent the following:
The other day while carving a ferrule came loose on one of my tools,
so I quickly grabbed up some CA glue to refasten it. Some glue ran
down the handle and onto my Kevlar glove. It immediately got very hot
and blistered my finger. Like I said you might know about this, but I
have never heard anything about it so I though I would tell someone
about it. Could this have been a chemical reaction?
Has anyone else had this experience? Anyone aware of adverse
chemical reactions with CA on Kevlar?
Carve On!
Matt
