I am writing to let you know that donations in support of Marnie 
Whillock can be made through a PayPal account in her name. Marnie as 
you know is the editor of Carving Magazine, a real go-getter, and the 
daughter of Ivan Whillock, She is a mother and self emplyoed, with her

As most of you have already heard, Marnie is facing a difficult 
situation with her health (dealing with breast cancer) as she undergoes 
chemotherapy and related medical treatment. She has no medical 
insurance.

During this time she will need some financial help to pay for some of 
the expenses related to her medical care. As you can imagine, her 
business will have to take second place to her health and family for a 
time, till her strength returns. Anyone who has gone through cancer 
treatment will understand what she is dealing with. The financial 
assistance she receives from family, friends and the List community 
will go to pay medical bills and help her keep her house and business 
afloat.

It is possible for you to come to her aid, making a donation through 
PayPal OR by more ordinary means, such as a donation sent by postal 
mail.

Marnie has provided, at my request, the information required for you to 
send your donation to her via PayPal.

address is also the ID for her PayPal account.
Go to https://www.paypal.com/ for more details.

If you have a paypal account, simply sign in and then direct your 
donation to her account.
If you do not yet have a PayPal account then sign up for one ( this 
will take a few moments), and have your credit card ready. You will 
automatically receive proper documentation of the transaction, and 
receipt of payment fro the computers at PayPal.

Later on today, I plan to add a header to the List messages that will 
include the link to PayPal, so that everyone will have the information 
handy. This link will remain on the List headers for a few weeks.

Please also take time to include a brief note of encouragement long 
with your donation. There is a message field in the payment window that 
allows for this.
