Hi Merrilee -

Hmmm - carvers arms are not just for  big things -  I've got a jig to 
hold cane segments (2"x2"x3") on a carvers arm,  for when I want to 
use mallet tools to quickly knock off a corner,  rough-in a face, 
etc.
