Maura, I get my eggs from a lady in Texas, I believe it is the first link
on my link page, where she sells everything emu. Her eggs are very clean,
mar free, and I highly recommend her. You can get any amount from one to
dozens. Actually there isn't much problem breaking thru as the green layer
iw quite thick, but then to get the white which is REAL thin, without going
thru is another story. PLease tell her I sent you. You really would enjoy
giving them a try. There are other ways they use them, too, and make
beautiful things. I happen to prefer to just carve them and have the eggs
look like eggs. I also got some of my first ones on eBay. But hers are
the best.
