I would think you have diamond willow out that way.  You are pretty far North, at least as far as I am.  I do have some customers out that way though, so maybe it doesn't grow out that way.  Good luck in your search out there.  Just look along the rivers and the edge of swamps.

  My brother-in-law will be in Idaho in a few weeks doing a job. I love working with diamond willow for hiking staffs and I wondered if there was any growing in this state. Bro-in-law will be more that glad to go anywhere around the state to harvest me some. Will this be done or not?
