Hi Bob,

Just pinch off or slice off small pieces of the clay and work it in your
hands to warm it. It will become soft and plyable.

and have yet to use it much.  It seems extremely hard. Now I haven't played
with clay since grade school but I'm assuming this stuff isn't 'Play-Doh'.
