  I guess phone charges are different in different arena's.  My son is in
the USAF and is stationed in Bagdad right now with a Civil Engineering
group.  Again, their number one request is phone cards.. and it is up to the
servicemen to pay for their own calls.  Brian said to go to ATT website that

  You can see that the costs are pretty high.. $0.25/minute.. and they can't
talk very long to family before using up their salary.
