Hi all,
I'me carving some small walnut wrens for a
spring/Easter display in our local library. A few of
them will have pewter legs/feet inserted, but I'd like
to put some of them in nests carved from a lighter, or
contrasting, wood. If anybody has carved nests and can
give me the path to your on-line photos (or know of
other sources for pics of finished nest carvings), I'd
appreciate seeing them to see how you depicted your
twigs, moss, etc. Yep, I've scoured my yard and
surrounding area and there is nary a nest to be
found--wouldn't ya know it? This fast and fun project
isn't something I'm driving to the natural history
museum for!
Thanks,
Jean
