[Woodcarver]Digital Photos, PTrail, and Finish

Hi,
I finally got some decent photos (I think) from that new digital camera.
Most of my carvings have been sold or given away but I shot the ones I still
have around and set up some Picture Trail albums. The only work presently
in progress is the Windmill Point Lighthouse sign. This carving is my first
outdoor sign and I'm still pondering the possibilities of finish for weather
protection. Most of my projects are woodturnings. When I retired last year
my fellow workers gave me a nice chuck of money which I invested in a lathe.
I've been kind of obsessed with turning to the detriment of carving since,
but I am slowly getting back to the chisels.
My favorite finish is shellac so the timing of this post kind of answers the
"Finish" question about shellac as well. Many of my pieces are finished
with shellac.
