Hi Again Relief Carvers,

First let me thank all who responded.  I really
appreciated the detailed explanations, similar and yet
different, overlapping and restating some techniques. 
Most of your answers were in fact well spelled out in
your books (for the authors who responded) and hearing
it again in a slightly different way brought rays of
bright understanding in focus.  

I have narrowed down my largest mistake in technique
to getting to the detail way too soon.  I think
someone said detail comes when you are satisfied with
with the blocking and levels.  Any adjustment would be
to large sections instead of recarving any detail. 

Am still amazed at the generosity of the lists. 
Really appreciate your sharing of information and the
time away from carving to help out another carver.
