Would not you have to let them thaw out before trying to paint with them???????????   A gallon of paint frozen hard as brick just does not spread very well.     ROFLMAO

Now to be serious.  I agree the oil based paints should be OK
Latex should be thrown away. I have also seen paint go bad from old age and it was kept inside for 3 years.
