[Woodcarver] Best glue for wood carvings?

Ed,

I would tend to stick with the Titebond glue.  It will set up relatively
quickly, so you can hold the parts in place while the glue sets up and the glue
line shouldn't be too obvious. If you think you can hold it for about 5 minutes,
that should do it, or perhaps you can arrange a beanbag or something similar to
support it after a few minutes of holding it to let it dry overnite.
