Sally , Nice to hear your opinion but as you know I have never carved wet 
wood . ( that I wanted to keep  long )  For as you know when you soak it in water 
, or better yet boil your wood it becomes soft and pliable and will bend to 
your wish. LOL  As for the big knife  I got one from Jan at the Pig Out and 
sometimes it's the only one I can carve with . The arthritis gets so bad in my 
hands, I see why Jan uses his all the time, as he said there are only two 
possessions.  For me I got long winded so hope you and David had a good Holiday.
