Hi Everyone!

First, I'd like to thank Bill Judt.  Thank you for all of your day to
day work and for moving the list so that we all could enjoy it again!  I
missed the daily interaction.

Second, I'd like to thank (and say HI to) all of the list members I met
at the Dayton show.  It was really fun to meet you all!  This list is a
wonderful way for carvers to enhance their lives, through the Internet
and in person.  

Third, I'd like to address the magazine questions.  Carving Magazine and
Wood Carving Illustrated are two different publications.  Since I am the
editor of Carving Magazine I can only speak for us.  If you ever have
subscription problems, please see our website
http://www.carvingmagazine.com under subscription services.  If you'd
rather call, the number is 1-800-877-5527.  This is the number of the
subscription company, not the publishers.  The publishers hire a
separate company to do all of the mailing so they are the only ones who
can answer these questions.  If you have tried these options with no
success, please email me privately at marn at marniewhillock.com.  Although
I do not have access to the subscription list, I will do what I can to
help you find the people who do.  

I also am interested to hear what kinds of articles you'd like us to
publish!  Listening to readers is very important to us.  Please use my
private email for all of this correspondence.
