There is a redneck comedian who's name escapes me right now but he does a humorous routine called "here's your sign".  Any help?

  I am trying to find the prose or poetry; that deals with the question, "what are you making mister ?" 
  A very talented carver that I met at one of the shows, commented that he was only making wood chips. He also commented about throwing away what he was making and keeping the .........
  Does any one know of any published or common replies?
