 I am drawn to both the PacNW stuff and floral, decorative, and especially
acanthus designs.  The first time I carved an acanthus pattern, my friend
told me I must have been a woodcarver in a prior life.  Who knows???  I did
some teaching on the west coast, and have offered instruction here, but
there doesn't seem to be much interest.  I get an occasional request for
help or advise, but I don't charge fo it.  I try to encourage more young
people to take up the baton.   I hope I have answered all your questions
without putting you to sleep.  Have a good day and keep the chips flying.
