Vic:

In fact, they did.
And we had a GREAT time doing this. Some days were were laughing till
our bellies hurt.

The first four carvers posed for each of the seven sins. After the
photo sitting, we viewed the photo portraits on the computer and picked
the ones that best represented a particular "sin".

The other three carvers chose from the three remaining "sins" and posed
for them specifically.

I was the model for "anger". It's hard to take a convincing portrait of
oneself, you know!!!

FYI, the seven deadly sins are: anger, pride, greed, envy, lust,
gluttony and sloth.

The digital camera was an amazing tool for this project, allowing
instant feedback (review) for each picture, and allowing the subject to
adjust their expressions accordingly. Each sitting took about 30
minutes.

The digital images were processed on the computer, translated to
gray-scale for printing, and then scaled to the right size. The images
were then traced by pencil on my light table. Further scaling took
place as required.

More details later,

Bill
