I got my new Woodbutcher Knife in the mail this week and I'd like to share
my reaction to this tool with the List. At first sight, I said I now know
why they call him "butcher", this thing is a real Pig Sticker :>) I was
surprised how heftiness of this tool. It is a big knife.  As a first test, I
rough cut the outside of a bowl I am carving from yellow cedar and it worked
like a charm. If anyone is looking for a strong carving knife at a very
reasonable price ($27.50 US), I recommend you consider Jan's new
Woodbutcher-styled Denny Knife. He has a picture of the knife on his
picturetrail site.
