  Hi all, 
      
         Dads medal project is finally completed.  I have posted the pictures of it. look in the Dads medal album, of course. lol. Hope you like my original display design. thanks to all of those who have offered their advice and interest on this project.  This carving was near and dear to my heart and it is the first time it has ever happened to me, but i got actual butterflies in my stomach as i was putting the carving into the display stand, hoping it would all work out together.  please excuse the quality of some of the pictures.  It is 100 times more beautiful in real life.  I am happy that it turned out the way it has and also glad that my skills are improving little by little.  Now to work on my photography skills. LOL     Maura
