I am working on a relief carving of two eagles (John Engler drawing) on an oval blank. Just the bust of each with one behind the other. Clouds, mountains, fields and a few evergreens in the background. Right now I have all complete except burning in the feathers and am half way done with that.
Marilyn, shoulda stayed south. Michigan sounds great...for Christmas...then winter should be gone. The Ozarks are having, so far, a marvelous winter. We have had only a couple of snows (one real one of 4") and no ice. A couple of times the temps have been down in single digits and once below zero. But by-and-large it has been nights in the 20's and days in the 40's and even up into the 60's and 70's. More like Louisiana where I was raised.
