hi ivan,
it is always a great pleasure to see your work.
love your planing stage which of course incorporates everything in key-form
stages . of course the thumbnail sketches, technique and your wonderful
appreciation of working with handtools, i can almost feel the thinking
process as each gouge sweeps a chip thinking inside out of your carvings...
that is thinking anatomy, emotional tone, movement etc. and expressing the
painful journey of jesus.   also what brought a smile to my face was...
after i opened what you termed ... color coding.... which is so succinct and
reminds me when i do celtic criss cross work, and find different colors do
help so much to have the different graduations inprinted in the mind.

loved the work in progress, as well as your website, st. bartholomew ...
