I don't mean to get anyone to laugh, but I have not yet quite achieved the blessings of the 21st century yet. I have a cable modem on a computer that is choking on the amount of available input. I currently use all hand tools, but soon I am going to start powercarving with a dremmel rotary tool (borrowed from my father in laws shop). When I can afford it I want to get some flexcut chisels, and the We cheer flex shaft set, with the reciprocating handtool attachment (such is the life of the wishlist), but in all I am hoping to continue the carvings I am currently working on such as a "porchtop buddy" who is kind of like a lawn gnome for the porch (8" round, and about 18" tall in Maple). I am currently working on a scrap block animal (of basswood) that I thought was going to be a "bear", is looking like a "buffalo" with stubby legs... such is the problems with paterning a block from a spotty memory. I am also working on a deep relief project wolf by a lake, with a cloudy night
(with mountains in the background). I am looking forward to moving back to Hohenwald, Tennessee (especially now knowing that I might be able to pick the brains, and maybe pick up a few tips from those around "Ol' Don"). Anywho I have to get to my tasks for the day.
Blessings and Peace,
Michael
