It has 12 pieces, looks like a really nice set.  Its up to $270 and still has a day left of the auction.  I think I'll pass.

  How many pieces are in the set

  They are suppose to be a good brand

  Might want to check the catologs of 
  Woodcraft, Woodcraftshop, Smokey mountain, Chipping away,
  just a few of the companies that have both printed and online catalogs for the price of new tools

  Stubi, Pfeil, taylor, swiss made, flexcut, ramelson   are all good brands too and might be able to purchase a new set for that price.
  Have to be careful on ebay, sometimes the price gets to be as much as new items
