Jean,

The DeWalt tools are all excellent, generally coming in either tops or highly
rated by several of the various woodworking magazines. Some folks don't care
for the brand, but I have a shop full of their power tools and few complaints
about any of them. I use them hard at times and I have never felt let down by
them. Grizzly's stuff generally rates pretty good as well. The one problem
there is you have limited service only from Grizzly and they have to ship
products to you, at least as far as I can recall. The DeWalt brand usually has
service centers in each state (local to you may NOT be an accurate statement
however!) and you can get good buys on them via the mail order places. Drop me
a line if you want more details or websites to buy direct. Thanks
