our local council has ask me to participate in a cultural exchange to a township to celebrate, share, create and plan for future arts in our area. the project is an opportunity for local artists in all media to showcase and share their talents, explore and be inspired by the artists and environment. as i have agreed to demonstrate and/or have a workshop in woodcarving, how do i go about pricing my demo/workshop....most of whom will be artists, maybe some township folks as well.

. a demo/workshop wherein they can achieve a carving in a day.
.material, blanks, minimum tools, and creative ideas to exchange and share and improve ourselves...
any ideas would be most welcomed...

this project somehow reminds me of my art student days, when we studied some american project... where there was unemployment, and real hard times, and the authorities put on a project called i think THE ARMOURY SHOW.... wherein it was so successful and brought great ideas forwarded and self esteem to artists... and this is what they are trying to do here.... some of us artists are willing to try but some have been so hurt they are finding it hard to believe....that they are really trying to help creative artists, but i would like to help to make this indeed helpful for artists and future artists.

please help many THANKS

maricha
