[Woodcarver] Joe's back and more donations for Marnie have arrived

Fellow Woodcarvers,

I'm back from a wonderful week at Ivan's. I learned a bunch, got lots done
and had such a great time. It is very refreshing to brake the routine for a
week of getting away from the phone to study under the talent of Ivan.
Thanks Ivan for opening up your time and studio to us.

The first load of donations got delivered safely with the help of Marnie's
two sons. It was like playing Santa. Thanks for giving from your heart.

I'm catching up on my paperwork and more donations are in for Marnie's
auction. Lesley sent a package from the UK with two lovely woodburnings.
Awesome work Lesley. Sorry to hear that Jeff is not able to come with you.
Like Bonnie said, we'll keep you busy so you won't miss him too much.

Also some wonderful gifts from Maricha Oxley in Australia, who also likes
Betty Edwards instruction book Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain.
Thanks for the sketches and the wonderful Madonna. Is it carved in Huron
Pine? With a mahogany base?

Two woodspirit cane segments arrived from Sandie Roosa, the first time I
ever seen any carved in an actual log. Great job Sandie and everyone.
