[Woodcarver] Wood Hardness

E.J. Tangerman’s book “Whittling and Woodcarving” has a table showing
various properties of wood.  It shows that Aspen is listed as the same
‘hardness’ as Basswood, but it also says that Basswood is easier to work
than Aspen.  Both are listed as ‘close grain’ wood.  You might want to check
the book for the meaning of the various scales used.
