[Woodcarver] patterns to carve

Hi Allen,
Depending on what you want to carve follow Mike's suggestions - use
anthing that is a picture. I tend to carve small pins and get a lot of my
patterns from stained glass patterns and embroidery patterns. Some you have
to think about what lines to keep or get rid of but they do make nice relief
type carvings. Most are only 1 1/2" - 2" big but I have made some bigger
and some I have even carved in the round. So that may be anothe place to
start. Quilt patterns and applique' work also. Coloring books are great
sources too. Did you use the words free patterns in your search? Keep
trying it'll come! Good luck!
