Alan, Don't give up... ever!!!!
Vietnam left me 80% disabled.
There is a big difference in "disabled" and "handicaped". An  individual 
confined to a wheelchair is disabled. Only when that wheelchair gets to the 
bottom of a flight of stairs are they handicaped.
You really can't work around a disability, but you sure can work it so 
you're not handicaped.
