Joe,

Thanks for the information. I already have been in contact with Dennis and the carving is on its way to Chipping away. This is a wonderful thing that you folks are doing for a friend. There are few people today who truly care enough to go out of their way to help someone. I feel privileged to be a part of this group and to be in the company of folks like yourself, Dennis and Bill J. I have read the threads for the last few weeks and I am astonished at the friendships and help that goes on here. So I hope in my small humble way that I can give something back as well.

Thanks Again,

God Bless and Good Carving,

Lenny Centonze

Hi Lenny,

This is what I posted some time back. Since than Bill (our List owner) has
posted other options along with Dennis Moore. Any way is fine and thanks for
your kind generosity. Woodcarvers are the greatest and you are the best.

This is a call to help one of our woodcarving family members, Marnie
Whillock. Marnie, editor of Carving Magazine, is fighting breast cancer at
this time. The outlook is very positive. She had surgery, removing the
cancer, and all indications, including her bone scan, are clear of cancer.
This is wonderful news. However Marnie is about to undergo both Chemo and
Radiation treatments as the final step in defeating the cancer. The costs of
the surgery and treatments are high and Marnie is not covered by insurance.
Marnie could really use our help. She's got two sons, Ryan who is in college
and Cory who has a year left in high school. Marnie is the only steady
support for the household. We are trying to get enough funds together so
Marnie doesn't have to lose her home and business, which is the catalog
business of carving supplies.

I know that there are many of you carvers who are on a very limited income
with no possible way of sending any financial support. You're thoughts and
prayers, for Marnie's complete recovery, would be appreciated.

For those of you who would like to help with Marnie's treatments you can do
so in complete privacy by sending your donations of carvings (to be sold at
raffle or auction yet to be organized) or a check directly to Marnie. If you
are making out a check please make it out to, The Marnie Whillock Benefit
Fund. Another method, if you have a Wells Fargo Bank near you, is deposit
directly into The Marnie Whillock Benefit Fund from your local Wells Fargo
Bank. Tell the Wells Fargo Bank that The Marnie Whillock Benefit Fund is
under Events Inc.

Marnie's address to send your donations is:

Marnie Whillock
1018 SW 8th Street
Fairibault, MN. 55021

If you would rather not let Marnie know what you are donating you may send
it to Chris Whillock with the following address:

Marnie Whillock Fund
Po Box 611
Faribault, MN 55021

Marnie does so much community work that now is a great time to show our love
for her. Even is you are able to give a small donation it will show a great
amount of love and support to her. If you are not able to send carvings or
money, your thoughts and prayers are the greatest gift of love.

Thank you from the Whillock Family and myself,

Joe Dillett

I can get some more pieces donated. I will keep you posted.
