[Woodcarver] Re: Learning to Carve

        Wow Joe! What a great course you are offering. Sorry I don't live 
close enough to attend.
       After taking several classes, I realized that I only was learning to 
do a project such as an owl, duck, etc. Painting really received practically no 
training time. 
       Yes, I have stopped taking classes as I find that I can do a project 
on my own, but would love to learn carving beginning with the basics, etc. 
Learning from experience and books is a slow and tortuous process and I doubt that 
I will ever become more than a modest carver.
