Hi Marilyn,
I believe when you and I were talking Dennis was only a few steps away from
us. It was a pleasure meeting you.
I brought back some cool stuff for Marnie's benefit, tools and carvings.
Dennis, thanks for giving me the shirt off your back. I wore it proudly on
Friday. I had a most wonderful time meeting everyone. Names became a blur
after the first few. Name tags were a big help in picking out the List
members. I wrote the three lists, that I belong to, on my nametag. That
helped some people spot who I was.
Somehow I was a little surprised at Bill. He looked a whole lot different in
the pictures he published on his web site than when I saw him at Evart.
Maybe it was the Canadian sun that gave him the awesome tan the color of
brown cardboard?
Ol' Don can play both kinds of music very well, Country and Western. We had
a great time listening to lots of songs, some of which were sang in the key
of D.;>)
Sandy Holder and her team did a great job pulling it all together. I have
some appretiation how much effort goes into it from hosting a tiny version
of the Roundup. I'm looking forward to several of those teachers coming to
my GOW in September.
