Hello Cynda,
What program are you using to build it, I use Front Page 2000, and I use
frames to place the pictures and text in. ( a tip given to me by Greg
Wilkerson.) When adding a frame you can place it anywhere you want to and
then add the picture and text inside the frame. Also you want to size your
pictures no bigger than 100kb, I found by making the largest number 650
pixels they come out fine, i/e, if you open your picture in an editing
program, I use Corel Photo House, click on "Image Properties",and choose the
size in Pixels, and it is 2000X2500, make the 2500, to 650, check that
maintain aspect ratio is on to keep your resolution right, I then use the
"optimize for the internet" feature and compress it to 10-20%. and it should
come in around 60 - 80 kb. I then save it to a folder on my desktop to be
added to my web page. Also when using frames you can either show the frame
border or turn it off. I like to show it, see my pictures at
www.partnersinwood.com.
If I can be of further help please contact me off list at

Take care and good luck,
