[Woodcarver] White Birch another ?

Thank you, Bill, for explaining that.  Now for the next one - is there a way 
to tell how "stable" a piece of wood will be - how much it will cup or 
twist?  How thick/thin of a piece can be used to help prevent this from 
happening?  There is so much to learn about the product -wood- that we are 
using and I sure do appreciate what information everyone from this list with 
all their knowledge and experience is always willing to share!
