Bill, I hope it is OK to let list members know that I'll be conducting a free seminar at my house the Monday after Easter.  I live in Hanover, Pennsylvania- right near Gettysburg.  I make a kettle of homemade soup and all attendees bring something to share for lunch and/or morning break.  I ask each participant to kick in a buck or two to cover utilities and charge a nominal amount for the blank- usually about $10.00.  I'm not sure what we'll be carving yet but it will be a project that even beginner carvers could handle. Also the carving will be knife carving, not power carving.     If anyone on the list is interested, please contact me off-list for more details and directions to Hanover.
