[Woodcarver] Request for everyone

Hi guys,

This message is off the topic of the list.

I have been receiving this list for a long time, I have never posted a
message here before because I am just enjoying reading what all you nice
people say.

I have a request to make. I am very ill, I suffer from a numberof different
medical conditions (11 in all) for me travel is very
difficult. In my life I have had huge plans to travel the world and see as
much of the wonderful sights that there is. These plans have basically been
put a stop to. Every day, more and more I get more house bound. I crave
hearing from the outside world and have a lot of penpals that keep me busy,
but I get to see little of the world. Often it is just outside their door.

I have been a collector of postcards for a while now and though I don't get
many I treasure what I do. I was hoping that some of the nice people on this
list might do me the honour of sending me a postcard from their locality. I
would also ask for people to send this request to any other mailing list
that they might be on. Unlike the hoax a few years ago. I am not a child, I
am 46 and I am not dying (yet).

I have just heard about some of the wonderful places that exist in the world
and would like to see some, replying would be difficult, my income is only
$4500 a year, my wifes about double and postage is very difficult.

So if you can, please send a beautiful picture postcard of the area where

I thankyou in advance for what you can send. I understand that some people
won't want to. It is just a little bit of therapy to try and cheer myself up
a bit, I suffer from Chronic Depression and I am always looking for ways to
make it easier for me.
