The link below to the Oregon Flute Store is a good one. They have lots of resources on making, playing, etc. I bought a combination package from them that had a blank flute, an excellant instruction book, and 3 burning sticks. I've made two using their blanks. I think it's a good way to start. The book has plans for building a routing fixture, which I'm in the middle of building.
It's also a good idea to get an electonic tunner.
I sure enjoyed making and playing them. One went to my granddaughter.
Enjoy.

Hi all,
This talk about flutes has perked my interest, now we need some links on how
to make one.
Thanks,
Clive.
