Mike... spent a pleasent time browsing through the sites you mentioned. Very 
interesting, but
I have some questions that I couldn't find answers to (or, most likely I 
missed). Are there specific
names for "side-blown", and "end-blown" flutes? How does a flute differ from 
a fife? And what's
the difference between a flute and a "pennywhistle' ?

Like I say they were probably explained & I missed them.
